As many of you know, I am a massive nerd. I’m actually such a nerd that people comment it on it almost immediately upon meeting me. Perhaps it’s my love of fun facts which I introduce to a new person, the way that I correct their grammar, or generally me walking away from people if I find them boring.
My daughter says I am a bit like Sheldon Cooper that way. I guess that’s why I don’t have many friends.

It comes as no surprise then that I was blown away by the animated short ‘Pexachu vs Godzilla.’
It’s an amazing display of what amateur animators can do when they put their mind and talents to it.
I always wanted to be able to do this kind of thing when I was a kid, but when all you have at your disposal is an old Polaroid camera, your chances of being the next stop-motion king is kind of limited.

The guys also did a really cool ‘making of’ video, where they discuss the motivation for the video, and what the process of making it and conceiving of it was like.

Way to go gang, this is the kind of stuff that keeps people occupied and busy during lockdown, so thanks for that.

I am going to try and upload some of my old cartoons for people to see. I would love to be able to learn some new tech to bring some of my old toons to life.
